June 5th Celebration!

The Daneville Heritage Museum hosted a June 5th Danish Constitution Day celebration. It was our desire to recreate a celebration similar to those hosted in the past by Viborg's DBS.
Our celebration included music, dancing and speeches by local dignitaries.

We thank Our Saviors VBS kids (pictured right) for sharing their program of singing and dancing with us.
Pictured left: As part of the program, City of Viborg's Mayor John Edelman presented our special guest, Kristian Bugge of Denmark, with a key to the city. Fiddler Bugge performed with local friends.
Below: The DHA Danish Dancers entertained our guests. We thank our instructor, Laura Stevens.

Mange Tak
to all who attended or helped make our celebration a success!
